Finally, after much work and effort, Code 3 Customs can now equip the 1/24 scale cars by Classic Metal Works with real, working lights! Above, you see still images of the front and rear of a car showing the lights on. These flash back and forth in the head lights, tail lights, and light bar! To see a motion picture of the lights really working, click on the links below. NOTE: Although the movie shows the lights pausing on occassion, this is due to the digital camera, not the cars. The lights on the actual cars flash uninterupted.

These cars are awesome and, as one officer put it, "striking." Each car is retrofitted by hand with lights in the headlights, taillights, and light bar. Great care is given to hide all wires and battery. It takes almost 2 hours to fully equip one car with all working lights. This is the result of months of planning, design and testing, so you are getting a very professional piece of work. You must see this in person to fully appreciate the craftsmanship and detail of this car. Each car has - An "On" and "Off" switch easily accessible on the bottom rear - The lights can be turned on and off without removing it from the base - Working, flashing lights in the headlights, taillights, and light bar - A fresh, new 9 volt battery with 80 hours of capacity. A break-down of the pricing - Red/blue light bar, headlights, and taillights - add $60 - Blue/blue light bar and headlights only - add $60 - Blue/blue light bar, headlights, and taillights - add $72 (blue/blue lights require additional power and this configuration requires an adapter) - Vector lights, headlights, and taillights - add $110 (requires an adapter for additional power) These upgrades are expensive, but this is not a typical car. You are purchasing a hand-crafted and detailed car of the agency of your choice with a minimum of two and a half hours of personal attention given to it, and not a piece going down some assembly line. Each car is disassembled and drilled out to accommodate the fitting of the lights. This is a replica unlike you have ever seen! When ordering your car, please indicate the agency you'd like and the type of lightbar from the list above, colors, and that you want the car with "real working lights." Add the cost of the agency to the cost of the lights. Please, allow 4-8 weeks for delivery of cars with real working lights.
